Checked Off

Come back whenever you come back

The absence of streaks and overdue counts is a deliberate mechanical choice, not a missing feature - and coming back after a busy stretch should feel like an invitation, not a judgment.

Daily View, fully expanded — a prioritized list with no dates attached

Picture this: it’s Thursday morning, and you’re back at your computer after three days out with a sick kid, no notice and no time to get anything done. The last thing you need is a productivity app yelling at you about everything you missed.

It doesn’t matter why you were gone

What you actually need is a tool that shows you what still has a hard deadline and what’s currently the top priority in your active projects. That’s it. The reason for the interruption doesn’t matter, whether it was a sick kid, a work crunch, or a stretch of a few weeks or months where something else took over. When you come back, you want to see where you left off, and you want to choose which projects are still relevant right now.

What happens when you come back

When you come back to the app after an absence, you can either pick up where you left off or curate: choose which projects you actually want to see right now. We even have a project status called “on the shelf,” which means just what it sounds like:

Come back whenever you come back

You already know when you’re behind. You don’t need an app to remind you of that. What you need is a clear path back to what matters, and that’s what we built. Come back whenever you come back. Sort out what you want to focus on, and just as easily set aside what you don’t.
